Hi! I have not heard of Aurora yet, but I will have a look at it tonight.
Can you tell me how many users you normally have without getting lag? Normally when a sim becomes crowded, the lag increases significantly.

I am running a sim on a p4 with 1.5 g ram and have virtually no lag. I have to say Its better than secondlife many of the common annoyances found in OpenSimulator have been fixed.

I would really recommend checking it out.
