where are we?
what the hell is going on?
the dust has only just begun to form
crop circles in the carpet
sinking feeling

spin me round again
and rub my eyes,
this can’t be happening
when busy streets amass with people
would stop to hold their heads heavy

hide and seek
trains and sewing machines
all those years
they were here first

oily marks appear on walls
where pleasure moments hung before the takeover,
the sweeping insensitivity of this still life

hide and seek
trains and sewing machines (oh, you won’t catch me around here)
blood and tears (hearts)
they were here first

Mmmm whatcha say,
Mmm that you only meant well?
well of course you did
Mmmm whatcha say,
Mmmm that it’s all for the best?
Of course it is
Mmmm whatcha say?
Mmmm that it’s just what we need
you decided this
whatcha say?
Mmmm what did you say?

ransom notes keep falling out your mouth
mid-sweet talk, newspaper word cut outs
speak no feeling no I don’t believe you
you don’t care a bit,
you don’t care a bit

(hide and seek)
ransom notes keep falling out your mouth
mid-sweet talk, newspaper word cut outs

(hide and seek)
speak no feeling no I don’t believe you
you don’t care a bit,
you don’t care a (you don’t care a) bit

(hide and seek)
oh no, you don’t care a bit
oh no, you don’t care a bit

(hide and seek)
oh no, you don’t care a bit
you don’t care a bit
you don’t care a bit

Since yesterday evening I have an apartment at the third floor of Kleine Präsidentenstraße 4, Berlin!
My real estate agent failed to notify me of the railway, but oh well. It’s large and luxurious :D

Satellite pic here: Click

It has 4 rooms and a total surface space of 264 sqm over two stories.
I can’t make pictures at the moment since it was dark ofcourse, but I will post them soon!

As a Second Life mentor I saw a big influx in new residents last weekend. After reading up on the mailing list of the SLV’s this article turned up as probable cause.

( FFS people, does everything revolve around sex? D: )

———–

A couple have divorced after the wife saw the husband having online sex in the virtual world of Second Life. So how do avatars have sex?

Wife walks in and finds husband in a compromising position on the sofa with another woman. Wife feels betrayed. Wife files for divorce. Marriage ends.

It’s a familiar scenario in soap operas, but for one married couple it was all too real. Sort of.

Amy Taylor and David Pollard met in an online chatroom in 2003, got married and shared their interest in Second Life, a virtual world… Read more >>>

Yes, I have a wide smile on my face while clearing WT land from his clutter, which has been dragged on over time. Instructed the security to shoot on sight but I could also pay off the security and issue a Valley ban.

I’ve been pushed beyond a point of my patience and loyalty that only a very few others have pushed me. It is a point that if I cross that, there will be no more reasoning or any form of politeness. This point is for life and I will never even reconsider of thinking in any other way about that person. In short, may the gods be with you.

So, I.M. or H.B. in SL, thank you for screwing me over. Thank you for pissing me off so much sometimes that I could not sleep at all. Thank you for doing all so high and mighty while you turned me into a wreck. Thank you for showing who you really are.

To his (former) friends: I’m sorry I have ignored you and defended him. I was blind and if I have said something hurtful, please accept my sincere appologies. You we’re right all along.

So, it is time to say goodbye. I will issue that ban anyway, just for kicks.
Farewell.

It’s going to be a fairly busy weekend again, but I need to scavenge some flee markets for my Steam Punk project and doing some last winter preparation around the house.

Mebeh Germany next weekend? Roar. ^^

So I bid everybody a very awesome weekend and add some colour to it! If you have an old car, paint it in wild colours or go play paintball at your mother in-law’s house. I dunno, but do it! ^^

This is a question people tend to ask me a lot.

Second Life is a good outlet for my creative moods and is a really fun 3D chat room at the same time. I can build whatever I like, whether it is psychically impossible or not. I meet a lot of people from all over the world  which makes it amazingly interesting too.

The media

[Drive-by Media]
OMG, SECOND LIFE IS ONE BIG SODOM AND GOMORRAH WITH ILLEGAL PORN, GAMBLING AND A BUNCH OF ANIMALS HAVING RANCID SEX!!
[/Drive-by Media]

Yes, it’s true. Partially tho. Because the ones who accuse Second Life and it’s residents of this, should have a good look at their own “real life” surroundings and country. Thing is, SL is not that much different from RL. Only difference is, that in you cannot die in SL, you don’t need food nor have to take a crap in the bushes.

Dubious porn will be everywhere and gambling too (although it’s banned from SL) About “animal” sex… hehehe oh well, aren’t we all a little animal inside sometimes. Don’t tell me you didn’t growl once when you blew your load. I will come back on this particular subject later this week.

Machinima

So yeah, besides all the weird things that happen in there, there are also some quite interesting things to mention. It’s a very good place for Machinima for example. I’ve even bought a special mouse for it, since that makes filming a whooooole lot easier.

3D and Art creations

What I cant create at work (because of that stupid thing called building code and gravity) I can create in SL. Trying to keep things as realistic as possible withing the boundaries of available building blocks. Yeah… available building blocks. One cant just create something without having to keep a certain amount of building blocks in the back of his or her mind. Per square meter of land, one has a fixed amount of building blocks. Too much hassle to talk about it right now.

Exploring

This is probably the most interesting part of whole SL. With almost 1.800.000.000 sqm of land, the world of Second Life has become really -REALLY- big. Same thing with the users. Back in 2006, it was considered a busy day when there were 15.000 residents online, today it nearly reaches 60.000.

I will actually go travel around in SL and try to stay in-world permanently for a week or so. Ofcourse, crashes and other failures may interrupt it briefly, but the goal is to stay in-world for an extended period of time.

My goal? To meet more people and see many weird creations too.

I’ll keep you posted about this :)

Watch the complete episode, brought you by southparkstudios.com.

Enjoy!

PS. About Last Night… Just About Gone!

You’ve only got about 24 hours left to watch “About Last Night…” before it leaves the site for the site due to “pre-existing legal obligations.” It will be back on the site permanently December 6, but this is your last chance to see it before then.

And don’t miss this great interview with Matt Stone about the politically charged heist thriller “About Last Night…” at IGN.com.
